How Long the Taiping Rebellion went for
The Taiping Rebellion was a long and bloody civil war, this war had gone for around 14 years, but the last of the Taiping Rebellion had been wiped out in 1871, so the Taiping Rebellion actually went for around 21 years. This civil war was a long war, lasting for 14 years; it started at 1850 and ended at 1864. But the end of the Taiping Rebellion was really in 1871 because that was the year the remaining Taiping army had been killed and the Taiping king Tiangui Fu had been killed.
Who was involved in the Taiping Rebellion
The Taiping Rebellion is a war that did not just included China it had three other countries that had gotten involved in this destructive civil war. The Taiping Rebellion had 3 other Countries involved in this civil war; these countries were Great Britain, France and also America. The Qing Dynasty had soldiers from those countries and they also had two American Generals, a French general and one British general. The Qing dynasty also had 7 Manchu Generals including their emperor who were leading their armies to war. Also the Taiping’s had 7 generals/leaders who were leading their Taiping soldiers to war. These countries had joined this war because they did not want Taiping soldiers to overrun the Qing dynasty because they knew if that happened they would not be able to trade with China anymore.
